About 40 to 50 percent of the homes we build have a basement. Your options include:
- Unfinished basement. Storage and room to finish later.
- Finished basement. Extra living space from day one.
- Plumbing rough-in. Pipes set for a bathroom you add later.
- Basement safe room. A room with a vault-style door.
Whether a basement makes sense depends on your lot. We will look at that during the free site visit.

We give exact prices after the site visit. The cost depends on:
- Garage size and number of bays
- Deck or porch size and materials
- Finished or unfinished basement
- Your lot's slope
- Driveway length and material
A third garage bay adds roughly $20,000. Everything else is priced after the site visit.
